Northfield Golf Club image
(Range: 9 miles)
Designed by Alex Findlay, this “links” style nine-hole course was constructed at the turn of the century and opened in 1901; the current layout opened for play in 1912. The Northfield Golf Club is a well designed and carefully maintained mature course. The fairways are narrow and tree-lined, there is excellent hole variety, and the small, fast greens keep the course interesting and appealing to both skilled golfers and those just learning how to play the game. (Curated content from northfieldgolfcourse.com)

The house dates to an era when Keene had about 100 homes, a meetinghouse, a courthouse, a jail and a population of approximately 1600 people. Two highways to Boston were in construction; one through Jaffery and Marlborough, the other through Troy and Fitzwilliam. Livestock were allowed to run free on Main Street. The mail was being carried from Boston on a daily stagecoach leaving Boston at 4:00 am and arriving at 8:00 pm. Thomas Jefferson was president.  (Curated content from horatiocolonymuseum.org)

Crumpin-Fox Club image
(Range: 13 miles)
Crumpin-Fox Club was conceived in 1969 as the “Field of Dreams” of David Berleson, who engaged the services of Roger Rulewich of Robert Trent Jones, Inc. to locate a site that would accommodate a Pine Valley-type golf course. Under the direction of Roger, the front nine holes were built along with extensive renovations to the existing back nine holes, the driving range, and the irrigation system. Bent grass fairways were planted and the course opened in June of 1990. Our continuing goal is to provide an enjoyable and challenging golf experience and promote the values of the game of golf. (Curated content from www.crumpinfox.com)
