Branbury State Park image
(Range: 8 miles)
Branbury is located on the eastern shore of Lake Dunmore at the base of Mt. Moosalamoo. The Green Mountain National Forest is its neighbor to the east. Historically, the 69-acre park operated as a farm at the turn of the century, then as a guest house, summer boy's camp and private beach and picnic area. In 1945, it became Branbury (Brandon-Salisbury) State Park. The 1000 foot natural sandy beach, clean, clear Lake Dunmore, and the large open grassy areas make the area very popular for swimming, sunning, or picnicking. (Curated content from vtstateparks.com)
Neshobe Golf Club image
(Range: 10 miles)
Our par-72 Championship course lies amongst woods, farm and pasture land, and rolling hills. While Neshobe GC affords beautiful mountain views in all directions, it is not a typical “mountain course”, having no severe up- or down-hill lies or blind shots. Clearly, it is a tribute to our Course Superintendent and his expert staff that players rave about the conditions, featuring 18 distinctive holes which provide a variety of challenges to all facets of the game. (Curated content from neshobe.com)
